Rumi came to visit
seven times seventy we danced among the stars
and the moonbeams were our ladders.
Seven hundred times seventy
we breathed the air of love
that fragrant rose
Of this we are
and who knows but the Knower
for He is the only one.
"Too many times they speak my words",
"Why do they still misinterpret"?
"What was said to me was only mine.
To all came later
silently, in breath, become."
